A candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course, must possess a recognised degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognised dental college.
The department of Prosthodontics and crown and bridge at MRDCW offers diagnosis, treatment, planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of the oral function, while ensuring comfort, esthetics and health of patient with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth and associated tissues. It specializes in implant, esthetics and reconstructive dentistry. The primary responsibility of the department lies in the education and training of students in the restorative aspect of rehabilitating missing dentition back to biologic health, function, esthetics and comfort.
