Overview
Prosthodontics is the art and science of Dentistry pertaining to the restoration and maintenance of the natural teeth, replacement of missing teeth and associated oral and maxillofacial structures. The Department of Prosthodontics at CSI CDSR holds international reputation with the didactic activity of its faculty members.
The speciality includes a complete range of treatment from the restoration of a single tooth to the fabrication of a complete denture, to more delicate work such as crowns and bridges. The Prosthodontist also has a social responsibility to rehabilitate people who have undergone extensive deformity of the face due to trauma or cancer surgery.
The Laboratory is equipped with the latest state of the art facilities like Ivoclar Ceramic Furnace and a whole range of casting and laboratory, equipped to help in teaching and training the students to attain perfection and also meet the treatment requirements of patients visiting this hospital.

Eligibility
A candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course, must possess a recognized degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognized dental college.
