Overview

    Attending to the prosthodontic needs for patients of all ages, from infancy to geriatrics, the department of prosthodontics aims to restore the lost form, function, aesthetics, and bring back beautiful smiles on people’s faces. The patients are appraised of all treatment modalities and rehabilitated with removable dentures or a fixed prosthesis retained by natural teeth or dental implants. Even the disfigured body parts, particularly the face can be brought back to their natural self with a maxillofacial prosthesis.

    The department is well equipped with the state of art infrastructure, ceramic, chrome-cobalt lab and four different implant systems to render the best possible treatment and outcomes.

Eligibility

    A candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course, must possess a recognised degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognised dental college.
