Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Periodontology

• Applicant should have passed BDS degree from KUHS from any other University recognized by DCI.
• Registration with the State Dental Council.

The department Periodontology and Implantology provides all round development through undergraduate training patient care and research. The department is well equipped with advacned instrumetns, good colletion of back volumes of international and national jounals and text books of national and foreign authors. There are separte sections for undergraduate and post graduate students.

Post graduate studetns have an opportunity to lern and master variety of surgical procedures, training in dental implant placement and clinical exposure to use soft tissue laser and electrocautery in a specialty clinic attached to the department. The department also provides interdisciplinary case management and researcg possibilities.

All candidates shall have to qualify the All India NEET MDS Exam for admission as per the Dental Council of India norms.
