Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Orthodontics and Dento Facial Orthopedics

Overview

Department of Orthodontics deals in the treatment of patients with dentofacial deformities predominantly dental and skeletal malocclusions, cranio facial deformities, particularly cleft lip and palate. Orthodontics encompasses preventive, interceptive and corrective treatment involving preserving the normal occlusion, guidance of erupting teeth to occlusion, growth modification, and corrective orthodontics with a variety of appliances


 

Eligibility

The candidate must have recognized degree of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery).
