Overview
Library: The College Library Situated in the first floor of Admin block has a built up ara of 8000 sq.ft. A total of 10814 text books are available. The college has subscription for 49 international Journals and 35 national Journals and back volumes of 77 journals are available. In addition to this, facilities such as Reading room for post graduates , Faculty room , E – Library arena, Scanning and Photcopying facility are also available in the library. The E library is equipped with 10 computers with high speed (1 GB) WiFi facility enabling the students to access online journals and various e- content materials.
Auditorium: The second floor of Administrative Block houses the auditorium which is a well-designed with modern audio visual enabled air-conditioned auditorium theatre with Dolby stereo surround system. It has a seating capacity of approximately 400 audiences. All major functions, including conferences, CDE programs, annual cultural program and college day function are conducted in the auditorium.
Lecture Theatre Complex: The lecture Theatre complex is a two-storeyed building with 4 lecture halls equipped with state of the art facilities and boys common hall. Technology needs to be integrated into teaching and learning process and MAHER has done the best to ensure it in these centrally air-conditioned classrooms. Technological aspects such as such as smart boards, Multi media & Audio visual Aids has been leveraged for better student-teacher interaction, productivity and communication. It makes teaching and learning simpler and enjoyable. Each classroom can accommodate over a hundred students. The seating arrangement is such that the students get an unhindered view of the faculty and teaching aids from all sides.
Mobile Dental Van: Meenakshi Ammal Dental College has a fully equipped mobile dental clinic which is used to carry out dental treatment and screening at identified locations such as Schools, Local community areas etc. The dental Van has 2 fully equipped dental chairs which facilitate provision of comprehensive patient care in the outreach programmes of our department.
Student Amenities
Hostel & Mess: Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital offers a very comfortable living accommodation with separate hostels for boys and girls, with 268 rooms and 17 resident quarters with a built up area of around 1,00,050 sq.ft. All the Hostels in the campus are under the care of resident wardens. The Campus houses one hostel for boys, Four hostels for girls and one quarters for PG students. The Campus has an in house mess to cater the needs of the students and staff Members. The mess area is spacious, well ventilated and has an exclusive dining area for the students and faculty. The students are provided with breakfast, lunch, evening refreshment & dinner
Cafeteria & juice shop: The campus facilitates the students with 2 in house canteens and one juice shop which functions till 7 o clock in the evening.
Music Makers Of Meenakshi: The College also has a music club for passionate music Lovers, in the third floor of the administrative block equipped with various musical instruments and the music club encourages and train the students for participating in various cultural competitions.

Eligibility
- A candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course, must possess a recognised degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone one year compulsory rotatory internship in an approved/recognised dental college.
- The candidate should have completed his/her C.R.I (Compulsory Rotatory Internship) on or before 31st March of Admission year.
- There shall be a uniform NEET for admission to the postgraduate dental courses in each academic year conducted in the manner prescribed by the National Board of Examination or any other authority appointed by the Central Government on this behalf.
