MDS Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

A candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course, must possess a recognised degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognised dental college.

The oral & maxillofacial Surgery department aims of providing quality care at an affordable cost. The centre contains eminent surgeons baring repute with different skills in the specialty involved in performing surgeries & conducting teaching sessions.

1. Craniofacial Trauma
2. Cleft lip and palate (SMILE TRAIN CENTRE)
3. Oral cancer and other head and neck tumors
4. Orthognathic Surgery
5. Aesthetic Plastic surgeries
6. Micro-vascular surgery

• UG students are taught about Local Anesthesia and Exodontia procedures while PG students also perform major & minor surgeries under aseptic conditions.
• The department is well equipped with STRYKER OSTEOTOMY KIT along with NSK OSTEOTOMY SURGICAL HAND PIECES, PIEZO ELECTRIC SURGERY.
