Maharaja Agrasen University (MAU), Solan

Maharaja Agrasen University (MAU), Solan, is a Private University located in District Solan, Himachal Pradesh and was established in the year 2013. The University is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by The University Grants Commission of India (UGC). The School of Pharmacy came into existence in the year 2015, with academic programs D. Pharm., B. Pharm. and Ph.D. From the academic session 2019-20, the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has approved the increase in the intake of B. Pharm to 100 seats. Both D. Pharm and B. Pharm programs are duly approved by the PCI under section 12 of Pharmacy Act 1948. All the courses are approved by HPPERC and Government of Himachal. Every year, the faculties are participating in FDPs, Conferences, Workshops.

Facilities:

Classrooms: The class rooms have been designed aesthetically. Keeping in view the availability of natural light and ventilation, these classrooms provide a conducive environment for academic accomplishments and offer a distinctive place for studies. The classrooms are equipped with a collection of ICT-enabled equipment, to enable the teachers to efficiently discharge their duties. 

Wi-fi Campus: The campus is fully Wi-Fi and provides 24 hours uninterrupted Wi-Fiinternet access to its students. Each block is supported by a Computer Lab withhigh end servers for better connectivity.

Auditorium: The University is having an auditorium and an open air theatre which facilitates the students to carry out a variety of artistic performances and other activities. The auditorium is fully equipped with different types of audio-visual aids

Hostel Facility: There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls to meet their requirements and provide them with the finest hospitality.
