Kasturba Vaidyakiya Rahat Mandal Hospital (KVRM), Valsad

Kasturba Hospital was founded by Shri Thakorbhai Dahyabhai Desai, Shri Keshavlal Prabhudas Shah, Shri Manibhai Dyalji Desai, Shri Chandrakant Kapoorchand Shah, Shri Ramanbhai Gulabbhai Desai and Shri Nagardas Narotamdas Shah in the year 1944 on a rented premise. What started as an initiative by Kasturba Vaidyakiya Rahat Mandal with only 6 beds in place, has now transformed into a 255 bedded hospital symbolic of hope to many. Kasturba hospital was awarded the Express Healthcare Award-2017 (National Award) by 'The Indian Express' organized by Healthcare Senate 2017 under "special jury award for best corporate social responsibility".
