Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences College of Nursing was established in the year 2004 and permitted by Govt of A.P, Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, APN&MC, Hyderabad to admit 100 candidates per annum into B.Sc (N) 4YDC course. M.Sc (Nursing) programme was started in the year 2012 with an intake of 20 students per annum in 4 specialties i.e., Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing and Mental Health Nursing 5 seats in each specialty. College is affiliated to DR.NTR UHS, Vijayawada & after bifurcation it is affiliated to KNRUHS, Warangal.
