JPM Rotary Club of Cuttack Eye Hospital and Research Institute is a state-of-the-art eye institute based in Cuttack, Odisha, which provides comprehensive eye care services. Established in January 1992, JPM is a premier institute in the field of eye health and works towards eliminating preventable blindness. The construction of the hospital began in March 1991, at CDA, Cuttack and was completed in record time in January 1992.The beginning was modest with only 40 beds and an outpatient section, mainly for the cataract patients. Within a span of 24 years, the hospital has expanded to accommodate more than 120 beds in several specialized departments, and treat more than 10,00,000 patients in the OPD till now. The institute has performed more than 1,45,000 eye surgeries and more than 14,00,000 people have been provided eye care treatment.
