Ispat General Hospital, Rourkela

Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) is the first integrated Public Sector steel plant of India under the aegis of SAIL. Ispat General Hospital (IGH) was established in the year 1959 to cater to the health needs of employees working in the Rourkela Steel Plant and their dependants. Presently it serves 15,383 RSP employees’ & 71,000 employees’ dependants and about 44,000 ex-employees. At present, Ispat General Hospital has bed strength of 600.
