    Duration of the course is 1 year + 1 Year Internship.

    Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) is the largest association of Doctors, Nurses and other specialized health care professionals involved in caring critically ill patients. There are various courses run by this society, IDCCN (Indian Diploma in Critical Care Nursing) is a specialized training course for nurses which helps to ameliorate and expertise with advanced skill and knowledge. The course is certified by ISCCM (Indian Society of Critical care Medicine). During the period, the nurses will be under the supervision of critical care team and nursing education team. This course is designed to assist students in developing expertise and knowledge in the field of Critical Care Nursing. It will help students to develop advanced skills for nursing intervention in caring for critically ill patients.

Eligibility

    Candidate must be a Nursing professional. Must possess a valid Nursing Degree, such as- B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, or M.Sc. Nursing (or even higher qualifications related to nursing).

Admission Process:

    On the basis of marks scored for GNM/BSc Nursing/Post BSc/MSc Nursing and in the qualifying examination and personal interview.

    • The application should be filled by the candidates in his/her own handwriting.  Certificates to be attached along with the application form are: 
    1. Self-attested copies of Mark sheets and Degree Certificates of your highest qualification (GNM/BSc Nursing/Post BSc/MSc Nursing). 
    2. Self-attested copy of Birth certificate. 
    3. Self-attested copy of Transfer Certificate. 
    4. Character and conduct certificate issued by the HOD of the institution last studied in. 
    • Selected candidates will have to undergo a medical examination conducted by Rajagiri Hospital. Students will have to bear the cost thereof.
