ISAR Certificate Course in Assisted Reproduction Technology (ART)

Overview

• The program is designed for Hands on experience of ovum pick up,embryo transfer,sperm preparation,ART Lab Procedure. It is run by ISAR members who are experts in the field of Assisted Reproductive Techniques. It is an initiative to pass on the entire skill set of setting up and running an IVF center as well as an ART bank to the trainee by ways of intensive hands-on training modules. The program has one to one interaction with ISAR's Fertility Experts,and Andrologists and Embryologists. Gynecology module includes Optimizing IUI outcomes,transition from IUI to IVF,Identifying normal,poor and hyper-responders for COH and choosing individualized protocols,luteal phase management,prevention and management of complications in ART and Hands-on training of OPU & ET with simulators. Andrology module includes Semen analysis - WHO criteria and beyond (including sperm DNA fragmentation and CASA),hands on training in semen wash PESA / TESA,Management of azoospermia. Embryology module includes Laboratory environment,utilities (media,disposables and equipment),dish preparation,live demonstration of sperm catching and ICSI,Hands-On training in Cryopreservation.

Eligibility

• Applicants should have completed medical post graduation in Obstetrics and Gynecology with MD/ DNB/ DGO or equivalent degree.
