Overview
- The IOA BIOS UK Junior Fellowship program is jointly offered by Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) and British Indian Orthopaedic Society (BIOS).
- The selected candidate will visit a center of excellence in the UK, which will be arranged in collaboration with the British India Orthopaedic Society and attend the Annual Congress of the British India Orthopaedic Society, where he will have an opportunity of a podium presentation.
- The IOA will provide a sum of INR 1,00,000 to the selected fellow.
- The age criteria for application is < 45 years as on 31st December of the application year.

Eligibility
- Applicant should have completed medical postgraduation in Orthopedics with D.Ortho/ MS/ DNB or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
- Applicants must be a Life member of Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) to apply for this fellowship.
- Age Criteria for application is < 45 years as on 31st December of the application year.
- Applicant can apply for a maximum of three IOA fellowships at a time.
- Any member who has availed an IOA foreign fellowship in the past, is not eligible to apply again.

Admission Process:
- Last date for applications is 31st October every year
- After uploading the online application link, all attachments must be scanned in PDF format and sent as a Zip File to IOA’s official email id.
- Communication only via e-mail will be entertained.
- Any wrong information furnished will automatically disqualify the application.
- The result will be uploaded on the IOA website in December month.
- A member will be selected for only one foreign fellowship. Any member who has availed an IOA foreign fellowship in the past, is not eligible to apply again.
