Internship in Clinical Optometry

Candidates who have completed their academic tenure of 2 or 3 years of diploma in optometry.

Optometry is a Primary Eye Care Science which covers the examination of human eye, Contact Lens, Orthoptics, Systems required for estimation of errors of refraction, the fitting, manufacturing and supply of optical aid. Optometric must complete three years of academics at Indian accredited College or School of Optometry. The duration of internship is one year

• The students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner befitting the profession.
• They should dress formally when attending lectures and when in the clinical areas
• It is mandatory to wear the white apron with name tag when in the classroom and in the clinical areas
