Late Smt Indira Gandhi Memorial Government Medical College, Kanker

Government Medical College (GMC) Kanker, Chhattisgarh, was established in March 2020, to provide excellent medical education and the best healthcare facilities to the people of the Bastar division and neighbouring districts. The institute is associated with a 350-bed hospital that currently operates under the Komaldev District Hospital Kanker. Kanker Maharaja Komaldev Ji made a public donation in 1928, and since then it serves as the main hospital for the region. When Kanker became a district in 1998, the hospital was declared its District Hospital.
