Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Pillayarkuppam was established in 2006. Located in the sprawling Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital campus of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University, the Dental College is beautifully constructed in 6 acres of area with futuristic infrastructures. The college is approved by Dental Council of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi, and the Govt. of Pondicherry for conducting Undergraduate and Postgraduate Dental Course.
