About

The Indian College of Radiation Oncology (ICRO) was established in year 1992 as a dedicated and integral part of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI). It is known as Acaemic Branch of AROI. Its aim is to co-ordinate and promote academic activities and research work in the disciplines of Radiation Therapy, Oncology, Medical Physics, Radiation Medicine, Radio Biology, and other allied branches in the country. It organizes continuing medical education programmes, updates, workshops, symposiums on these subjects at regular intervals and during the annual congress of the AROI in coordination with the Secretary-General of AROI and the Organizing Secretary of the Congress. It also prepare guidelines and materials for ensuring a uniform and high level of examination pattern in the field of Radiation Oncology across the country.
