Himalayan Institute of Pharmacy, Kala Amb

Himalayan Institute of Pharmacy is promoted and fully funded by the Maa Saraswati Educational Trust keeping in mind the needs of students across the Nation.The Diploma and graduation and post-graduation courses are approved by AICTE & PCI and affiliated to H.P. Technical University Hamirpur & H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharmshala. The Himalayan Institute of Pharmacy was established in 2007.

Facilities:

Hostel Facility: There are two hostels for boys (Sr. Boys Hostel and Jr. Boys Hostel) and a separate hostel for girls. The mess of each hostel is equipped with modern facilities.

ATM Facilities: The campus have an ATM ( Punjab National Bank) facility for the students and also for the staff members , so that they can easily transact their amount either deposit/ with drawl at any time (24*7) for their daily needs.

Canteen: For many students who use the Cafeteria regularly, the food purchased there makes a significant contribution to their total food intake and nutrition. In addition to the provision of nutritious food, the Cafeteria has an important role within the broader college environment in complementing the knowledge, skills and behaviors about healthy eating and lifestyles that are taught in the classroom.

Classroom: Classrooms have been designed in the form that students can easily and comfortably view the boards and the audio visual devices without any obstruction. Modern pedagogy is being used by the faculties to make an interesting teaching like PPT room,.

Computer Labs: The computer labs are fully air conditioned and the students are privileged to have unlimited access round the clock. The laboratories are equipped with structured fiber optic and UTP cabling network and other relevant software. We have state-of-the-art computer laboratories with 410 computers (DELL, ACER & HP make), 5 servers, 38 printers with a dedicated network.

Transportation Facility: Our transport facility is fully equipped to provide the safest & the most convenient transport solution. The college provides excellent transportation facilities with a fleet of buses.

Wi-Fi Facility: 21st Century belongs to “Era of Web Information” as Internet plays backbone for every aspect of life. Understanding the need and importance of Internet in the field of education, our campus is supported by round the clock High Speed Internet.

Library: A library can be considered a store-house of knowledge. It plays a very important role in promoting the progress of knowledge. Himalayan Group Of Professional Institutions has an automated central library covering an area of 900m square.
