GVM College of Pharmacy, Sonipat

GVM College of Pharmacy, Sonipat the “1st Girl’s only Pharmacy College in Northern India” was established in the year 2004. With an aim to promote excellence in pharmaceutical education and research sector. Since its inception, the institution has made noteworthy contributions towards the building professional skills of pharmacy focusing on all the major aspects. The college is approved by Pharmacy council of India, New Delhi and is affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak for intake of 60 girls students.

Facilities:

Library: Library “The Reservoir of Knowledge” of college is spacious and well stocked with thousands of books relating to Pharmaceutical sciences for students & faculty members. Library has subscription of various National, International& e-journals covering all aspects of Pharmacy. It is also equipped with high speed internet facilities to access e-journals. Library has book bank facility for students.

Classrooms: All classroom in GVM are spacious, well-furnished and ventilated with modern teaching aids like projectors and computers along with blackboard, green board and podium for faculty.

Conference Hall: Institute has a fully air-conditioned and well-equipped conference hall which is frequently used for various events and seminars and guest lectures held in the college from time to time facilitating the students to access the best of information by eminent professionals. It also has high-tech presentation facility.

Herbal Garden: Herbal Garden of Institute is well maintained with hundreds of medicinal plants. So that students can learn and explore drugs from plant kingdom. Medical plants are labeled with their sources, botanical name and cultivation technique etc.

Hostel Facility: The three Hostels ,aptly name ‘OJASWINI KUNJ’, ‘TEJSWINI KUNJ’ and ‘MANSVINI KUNJ’ are a third home to nearly 475 students. ‘A home away from Home’ is the basic concept of the college hostel. These hostels are loaded with all the modern facilities to provide a comfortable living to the students.

Banking Facilities: The College has an in-campus branch of State Bank of India to extend banking services to students and staff members.
