About
Government College of Pharmacy, Aurangabad has been started in 1996 with the efforts of Honorable Late Shri. Govindbhaiji Shroff as a part of his social obligation to which Marathwada region was awaiting. Initially it has been started as one of the Departments of Government College of Engineering. Subsequently in 1999, it has acquired the status of full-fledged Government College.
Facilities:
Library: At present college library has approximately 6500 text and reference books, worth more than Rs. 60 Lakhs, covering a wide area of knowledge. Eight international and 22 National and 7 International Journals are subscribed presently as hard copy or Internet editions.
Laboratories: College has 12 well-equipped laboratories to cater the need of undergraduate graduate students and 6 laboratories equipped with modern instruments and equipment's to cater the need of Postgraduate and research students.
Computer Facilities: College has computer facilities like internet through optic fiber based leased line (10 MBPS), 1 GBPS optic fiber based networking. Computer laboratory is well equipped with 30 computers, LAN printer, Laser printers, scanner, LCD projectors, OHP panel, photographic equipment's and digital recording facility with online UPS, Inverters and generators as power alternatives. College is also equipped with Video conferencing unit.
