Govt. Astanga Ayurved Mahavidyalaya (GAAAC), Indore

In the year 1964 this course got affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore (M.P.) India and the degree course was started by the university. By the sincere effort of the staff and leaders of the state, the Madhya Pradesh Government taken over this institution in the year 1972 and the institution named as Govt. Astanga Ayurved College, Indore. In the year 1998, for better development it got the status of Autonomous from state govt., and named as Govt. Auto. Astanga Ayurveda College. It is situated at Lokmanya Nagar.

Facilities:

Library: The Institute has a good and well maintained library in separate building with the area of 3000 sq. ft. Library having publications of various subjects on Ayurveda, Allopathy, Philosophy, Naturopathy, Yoga, Sanskrit, Fictions and science etc.

Hostel Facility: The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The girl's Hostel is Newly constructed 50 bedded girls hostel is working since 2008 on college premises. All the requisite facilities are provided to our students with quality standards.

Sports: The college has sports facilities for all students. The NSS Unit of college is functioning under the direct supervision of Devi Ahilya University, indoor. This is a voluntary association of young people of the college and aimed at developing student's personality through community service.

Laboratories: The college has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students.
