The Govt. Pharmacy Institute was established In the year 1958 by Health Department, Government of Bihar. It is the premier pharmacy institution with D.Pharm and B.Pharm courses with an aim to generate technical manpower in the field of Pharmacy to handle the professional activities of dispensing of drugs by registered persons to meet the statutory requirements of section 42 of Pharmacy Act, 1948. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi & PCI, New Delhi and the college is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna.
