Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Aurangabad

Government Medical College and hospital, Aurangabad is one of the premiere Medical colleges in Maharashtra. The admission strength was increased to 100 per year and then to 150 per year. P.G. Courses in various departments offer P.G. Degree & Diploma Courses, in all 85 per year. In addition, the College offers B.Sc. (Nursing) (50 per year), BPMT (120 per year). The hospital which started with only 300 beds in 1960 is now catering to 1177 in-patients in various medical specialties.
