The Hon’ble Minister for Finance, Govt. of Kerala has announced to start of a new Govt. Ayurveda College in Kannur District. The first batch of the BAMS course was started on 15.01.1992 with an intake capacity of 30 students in a year. A 150 bedded College Hospital has also been functioning under this College at Pariyaram for imparting clinical training of BAMS & PG students and also for House Surgeons.
