About

This institute is one of the oldest Ayurveda institute and established in1916 with the aim of development of traditional system of medicine (Ayurveda) and the objects to produce eligible and competent Ayurveda scholars, to produce efficient Ayurveda compounder and nurses (Mahila Ayurved Swasthya Karyakarta) and provide the best medical treatment through its faculties such as Panchkarma, Ksharsutra, single herb therapy and Yoga. This institute is dedicated to giving the best in field of Ayurveda and to produce the motto in the student that “come to learn and go to serve”. This institute was affiliated to “Jiwaji University, Gwalior”. Every year 50 seats are filled for B.A.M.S. course with C.C.I.M.’s permission in this institute. Out of these 50 seats, 5 seats are nominated for BIMSTEC student as per Govt. rule.

Facilities:

Hostel Facility: Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls available which are situated in the premises of institute.

Library: The library presently consists of good stocks of more than 13000 old and recent books of Ayurveda and modern medicines. There is book bank facility available.

Laboratories: Well equipped laboratories for individual departments having sophisticated equipment's to train the students to get first hand experience.

Museums: Each department is equipped with individual museum with various models, charts, etc. which are helpful teaching aids for better understanding of the subject.

Herbal Garden: The College possess a well-planned garden covering 03 acres of land with unique plantation of over 350 species of medicinal plants.

Hospital: The College is attached with fully functional and well facilitated Hospital.
