Government Ayurved College & Hospital (GACH), Bilaspur

Govt. Ayurveda College & Hospital has been established in the year 2012 and the 1st batch of students in undergraduate course has been admitted in October 2014, duly permitted by the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India, New Delhi. The intake capacity of course of the college was 60 seats and than 75 seats from 2018 onwards. This is second Govt. institute providing Ayurvedic education along with health care in Northern part of Chhattisgarh. This college has special attention towards the health education programme in remote villages of Chhattisgarh.

Facilities:

Library: useful reference books in various sections along with number of national journals, various news papers, e-materials etc. with the sitting capacity 50. Library is well equipped with e-library to provide better utility to the students and staff.

Sports: The college provides Indoor and Outdoor Games facility.

Dissection Hall: Highly equipped and well ventilated dissection hall for practical exposure.

Mini Pharmacy: Both pharmacy and drug testing laboratory are well equipped. Students are trained in preparing various kinds of Classical ayurvedic medicines.

Herbal Garden: The herbal garden is well maintained with irrigation facility having 2500 square meter land with plantation of 261 species of medicinal plants and with demonstration room as per CCIM norms.

Hostel Facility: Boys and Girls Hostel is Available with 40 and 60 seats.
