The Goutham Educational Academy was found in the year 1986 under the aegis of the Goutham Institute of Medical Science & Technology and has been duly registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act. The Goutham Educational Academy has since its inception built a formidable name in the field of Medical and Para Medical Education. The Board of Management of the Society consist of a group of selfless, dedicated and hardworking educationists whose endeavor in providing and establishing good professional education to the students has been a relentless effort on their part.

Facilities:

Hospital Facility: The 1250 Bed Hospital comprises of beds which include Medical, Surgical, Pediatric and other specialties like Sport and Orthopedics. Opportunities are also provided to students to visit Health and Social Community Centres for their learning experiences.

Library: The Library is stacked with Professional and Non-Professional Books Medical Journals Periodicals and News Papers in English and Regional Languages.

Sports: Outdoor and Indoor sports facilities are provided. A variety of recreational and cultural programmes and social events are organized periodically to assimilate the students into the social fabric of the society.

Transportation Facility: The College is having its own fleet of buses to transport students and staff to various organisations, laboratories, Hospital etc. for practical training.

Hostel Facility: Separate hostel for boys and girls is available ,adjacent to the college and security is provided.
