The institute will strive to be among the top medical colleges in India in the spheres of medical education, research and health care services. The extreme shortage of medical facilities in the region, promoted the GMERS Society to establish the GMERS Medical College at Gotri, Vadodara in 2011. The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India and designed for 750 beds free block.
