General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

• 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.
• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre.
• Registered ANM with pass mark.

• The philosophy of the school of Nursing focuses on the formal education preparation, which is based on education principles. We recognize it as the foundation on which the practice of Nursing is built and further professional education depends. At the same time we believe that we have the responsibility towards the students and to the society to make provisions in the program for the continued development of the student as an individual, citizen and a nurse Faculty School of Nursing believes that education is a life long process and we strive to seek the overall development of the student both personally and professionally.
• Faculty of School believes that the staff from the institution will render high quality care and also cater to the health care needs that are locally Nationally and also Internationally. The Nurse from this Institution will be competent as a beside nurse, nurse educator and capable administrator.

Each application will be scrutinized by the selection committee. Merit will be the basis for preliminary selection. Provisionally selected candidates are called for an interview at their expenses. The date and place of the interview will be intimated to the candidates.
