General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

• 10+2 passed / pre-degree course/HSC/VHSC or its equivalent qualifications.
• Students from Science discipline with aggregate of 45 % marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology are preferable.
• No relaxation in any of the requirements under special circumstances.
• Age limit 17 – 35 years, No special consideration.
• Each institute must conduct medical examination of candidates and only medically fit students should be admitted.
• The entire programme is fully residential.

The course was started in the year of 2007 and has an annual intake of 20 students and the duration of the course is 3 years. This programme is aimed to train the students to be catalyst in the society to prevent diseases, to heal the sick, to take care of the needy and to rehabilitate the affected.

They must have obtained the minimum number of marks required in their GNM Entrance Exam Result.
