General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

Overview

Corporate College of Nursing offers a structured 3-year GNM diploma to prepare general nurses capable of working in hospitals, clinics, and community health settings. The curriculum blends theoretical learning with clinical exposure in medical-surgical, midwifery, pediatric, psychiatric, mental health, and public health nursing. With approval from INC and state nursing council and affiliation to MPMSU, the college ensures recognized credentials. Graduates become eligible for nurse registration and can pursue Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing for further advancement.

Eligibility

Passed 10+2 with English, minimum 40% marks

Science stream is preferred; arts/commerce/vocational stream also accepted if meeting criteria

Registered ANM with pass marks is also eligible

Age requirement: minimum 17 years by December 31 of admission year, maximum 35 years

5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates as per government policy
