General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

• Students must have completed their Class 12th in any stream, though Science stream and Biology subjects are preferred.
• Also, candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in the Class 12th exam. Some top medical colleges offering GNM Nursing courses ask for 60% marks.
• They must also have obtained the minimum number of marks required in their GNM Nursing Entrance Exam Result.

Nursing is and always has been a challenging career option. GNM Nursing course is a 3 years 6 months diploma level course with a mandatory internship for 6 months. General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM, focuses on providing skills and knowledge related to patient care and clinical treatment. After GNM Nursing students can pursue a career in nursing such as Clinical Nurse Specialists, Legal Nurse Consultants, Forensic Nurse, Travelling Nurse etc.

Documents required at the time of admission:

• The passing certificate of the qualifying examinations.
• Academic transcript
• Original Migration certificate from your last institution
• The provisional certificate
• The school transfer certificate if you have any.
