General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

Overview

General Nursing and Midwifery is a 3 years course, including 6 Months internship as per the guideline of Indian Nursing Council /WBNC. The course is fully residential. The total fees of the course will be Rs. 657500, Hostel fees is also included in it.

Eligibility

• Selection will be made by Central Selection Committee (WBJEEB).
• The applicant must be citizen of India, must be domicile of West Bengal.
• The applicant must have passed or must be appearing in class 12 examination during admission year.
• The applicant’s age must be at least 17 years & maximum age 35 years during current admission year.
• Only female candidates are allowed for the institution.
• Must be permanent resident of West -Bengal uninterruptedly.
• Must be able to read, write & express in Bengali/ in Nepali.
• Must pass (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with at least 40%marks in aggregate.
• Must pass in English in (10+2) examination.
• Candidates passing (10+2) in Vocational stream must be from the Health Care Sciences discipline.
• All candidates must be medically fit for the courses & produce a Medical Fitness Certificate.
