Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year program aimed to prepare students to work effectively as members of the health team. This job-oriented program comprises subjects like Nursing Fundamentals Anatomy & Physiology Psychology Biology Sociology and First Aid. The program trains students to closely assess the nursing need of the patients monitor the condition of patients provide effective nursing care and assist the doctors in surgical procedures. The students learn to set up medical equipment in operation theatres and adeptly handle patients during emergency situations. Eligibility
- Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 to 35 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
- Students qualified in 10+2 Arts /Commerce/ Science examination conducted by with recognized board or National Institute of Open School.
- 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB), English with aggregate of 40% marks.
- 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
- Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health Care Science – Vocational steam only conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks.
