General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

Eligibility

Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively. For ANM/LHV, there is no age bar. The minimum educational requirements shall be passing of

• Pass in +2 with any subject, the percentage of marks is 40% as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council
• Those who have cleared 10 +2 Vocational ANM course (revised after 2001) from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council
• ANM training i.e. 10 +1 ½ years training should also have passed +2 its equivalent examination
• In addition to the above, admission procedure can be laid down by concerned State Nursing Council / Nursing examination Boards (S.I.B.E, M.I.B.E, C.M.A.I)
• Admission of married candidates are allowed
• Candidates should be medically fit
