General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

• Minimum and Maximum age for admission is 17 and 35, on or before 31st Dec of the year, in which admission is sought years.
• Minimum education 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB/PCM) with English or Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Civics, Education) and English Core/English Elective or Health care. Science Vocational stream, only with aggregate of 40% marks, 10% seats are reserved for male candidates.

The goal of the programme is to provide in-depth education and sound training in the field of Nursing with a emphasis on preparing nurses/health workers to meet the basic health needs of the community as well as to meet the requirements of emerging hospitals/nursing homes. The GNM course is affiliated to UP State Medical Faculty, Lucknow And Approved By Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. This course aims at preparing the students for promoting the health, preventing and curing the diseases of the society of Rural and Urban areas.
