Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for admission to GNM should have passed plus two or equivalent examination with English as one subject, minimum of 40 % marks from any recognized board. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category with pass mark (5% of total mark is relaxed) are eligible for application. Science group with Physics, Chemistry, Biology is preferable. In its absence, candidates with other groups also will be considered. Candidates from State open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government are also eligible for admission. Registered ANM also can apply. Candidates who have passed 10+2 Health Care Science – Vocational stream from a recognized CBSE Board/State/Centre are also eligible for application.
Duration of the Course: Duration of the Diploma Course in GNM shall be 3 years.
