General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course is an undergraduate Nursing course. It deals with the field of science and covers healthcare profession focused on the care of individuals, families, and communities so they may maintain, attain or recover optimal health and quality of life from conception to death.
This course will enable you to go for various nursing, midwifery and related other medical jobs in hospitals. GNM aspirants can work at Hospitals, Private clinics, Schools, Private offices, Training institutes, and Rehabilitation centres. Nurses can also take up administrative and teaching positions in medical colleges and nursing schools.

Eligibility
- 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.
- 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing council.
- 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
- Registered ANM with pass mark.
