General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

1. The applicant must be a citizen of India. Must be domicile of West Bengal.
2. The applicant must have passed or must be appearing in class examination in (10+2) system with at least 40% marks in aggregate.
3. The applicant’s age must be at least 17(seventeen) and maximum 35 years.
4. Candidate must be medically fit for the course and produce a medical fitness certificate.

The duration of the course for General Nursing and midwifery course shall be 3 years including an integrated internship. The course commences from 1st October of the academic year. Final examinations are conducted at the end of every year (Annual pattern). The medium of instruction is English for all the subjects of the study and for examination. HLG Institute of nursing provides rich clinical experience and students will be posted in different tie-up hospitals.
