- Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the end of the admission year.
- The minimum educational requirement will be 10 +2 within any stream having minimum 40% marks in aggregate.

After completion of GNM:
- Join as a Nurse in a Government, Private or Corporate Hospital.
- Going abroad to work as a Nurse in Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand or any other country.
- Going for various Diploma in Psychiatry Nursing, Operation Theatre, Intensive care or Cardiac care etc.
- Joining B.Sc. Nursing post basic (two years of duration) after working for minimum one year.
