General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

1. Minimum age for admissions will be 17 years.(as on 31st December of that year) The upper age limited is 35 year.
2. Minimum education; 10 + 2 class passed in any stream for GNM.
3. Those who have cleared 10+2 ,vocational GNM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
4. 5% relaxation in marks is permitted to SC/ST students.
5. Admission of students shall be once in years.
6. Students shall be medically fit.
7. In addition to the above, admission procedure can be laid down by Himachal Pradesh State Nursing Council /Director Medical Education –Government of Himachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh University Shimla.
8. A Candidate must have minimum of 85% attendance in theory and 100% attendance in practical in each subject for appearing In the final examinations.
9. English extra coaching classes is required to attended in the institution.
10. Minimum Eligibility criteria for GNM: 10+2 (Any Stream)

Documents required at the time of admission:

1. Duly self attested Photostat Xerox copies of the certificate and mark sheets of matriculation.
2. Duly self attested Photostat Xerox copies of the certificate and mark sheets of 10+2 .
3. Character certificate issued by the Institution/School ( Last Attended).
4. Bonafide Certificate.
5. Duly self attested copy of Aadhaar Card.
6. 6 Passport size photographs.
7. Residence proof.
8. Incomplete prescribed forms received after the last date, will be rejected.
9. All certificates and testimonials are subject to verification from the concerned Board/ University / Authority etc.
10. Anti ragging affidavit.
11. Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC).
