General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

Eligibility

• The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31St December of the Admission year. The candidate who has not completed 17 years of age are not eligible to appear in this course. No request for relaxation of the age limit will be entertained.
• Candidate maximum age limit 28 years for male and 32 yr for female.
• 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing council. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
• Registered ANM with pass mark.
• A pass out in 10+2 system with 40% marks as per norms of RUHS Univ./INC. It is the candidate’s responsibility to see that He / She is eligible for selection to the course. All selection in first instance would be provisional, to be confirmed subsequently. Even after confirmation a selection can be cancelled, if provide beyond reasonable doubt that the selection was secured through fraudulent means or the candidate was not eligible.
