General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

1. 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable. Three (core elective) subject marks may be taken for calculating the percentage of marks excluding the marks in English. Also, it has to be ensured the candidate has pass marks in English.
2. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
3. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational StreamHealth care Science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre.
4. Registered ANM with pass marks.

GNM Nursing, also known as General Nursing and Midwifery, is a diploma-level nursing program that aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a registered nurse and midwife. This program combines theoretical and practical training to equip students with the ability to provide comprehensive care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings.

Upon graduation, students are eligible to take the State Nursing Council Examination to become licensed registered nurses and midwives. Graduates can find employment in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities. They can also pursue higher studies in nursing, such as a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing).

Every Student will have a personal counselling session before admission to understand the student's needs and approach towards the course and to inform students in-depth on GNM Nursing.

Documents Required For Admission​:

• 1 Photo Copy of 10th and 12th Marks Card.
• 2 Latest passport-size Photos.
• 1 Photo Copy of the Aadhaar Card.
• Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended.
• Medical Certificate from the registered Medical practitioner.
• Non-Karnataka Candidates claiming Karnataka domicile should produce a domicile certificate.
