Overview
GNM course is General Nursing and Midwifery. The course can be pursued after successful completion of PUC / PDC / 10+2 or equivalent examination in any degree. Some institutes even require science subjects. The course duration is 3 years which is followed by a 6 months internship program. The program has been designed to enable eligible candidates to address the health needs of the country, community, and individuals. They can also pursue advanced study and specialization in nursing while contributing to the health-based industry with patience, responsibility, and dedication.

A candidate with 10 + 2 Class passed or its equivalent with aggregate of 40% marks can apply for the course.
Age limit: 17-35 years and for a certified ANM Personnel, no age limit.

- Basic of Selection: The selection of the candidates for admission to all courses will be made on basis of the merit and must appear for the Entrance Exam.
- Entrance Test: Date and venue of entrance test will be intimated by the respective departments on a later stage and the test will contain objective type (Multiple Choice) questions.
- Medical Fitness: A Candidate must be medically fit for the course.
