- Any other: Active participation in research projects of the department and submission of a short research dissertation carried out by the candidate.
- Methods: Journal reviews, seminars, case presentations etc.

- Schedules or Checklists, log books, diary: The department will have a trainee handbook/manual outlining all the diagnostic and clinical procedures done in Pediatric Endocrinology. Logbooks will be maintained by the trainee. Diary of all clinical cases seen and handled will also be kept.
- Written: Two theory papers - 100 marks each, two essays 20 marks each, six short notes questions 10 marks each
- Clinical: Number & Type of cases: 2 to 4 clinical cases (100 marks) and spotters (50 marks)
- Viva Voce - 50 marks
The candidate will be expected to teach Pediatric Endocrinology periodically to trainee postgraduates of DCH/ MD/ DNB courses by way of seminars, case presentations, etc. A research methodology course for 3-5 days will be arranged at the beginning of the course every year. Diabetes education of patients and their parents as well as the nurses involved in the treatment will be the responsibility of the candidate concerned. Rotation in Pediatric and neonatal ICU – 6 weeks /year and Biochemistry – 2 weeks/ year.

MD / DNB in Pediatrics or equivalent / DCH with Two Years Clinical Experience
Minimum Education

Admission Process:
Candidates will be selected from 4 member panel by interview (Approved by RGUHS). If necessary entrance test will be conducted. Preference will be given to candidates having three years experience after post graduation in the concerned specialty.
