Fellowship in Women's Imaging

The Women’s Imaging Fellowship Program at UAB Heersink School of Medicine provides specialized training in women’s imaging, with a strong focus on breast imaging. The fellowship prepares physicians for advanced clinical practice through dedicated training within UAB’s Department of Radiology. The program participates in the Breast Imaging Fellowship Match, sponsored by the Society of Breast Imaging and managed by the National Resident Matching Program.

1. Complete the UAB Women’s Imaging Fellowship application.
2. Submit the required application materials to Tanisha Davison, Education Administrator.
3. Submit the required supporting documents, including your curriculum vitae, personal statement, and recommendation letters.
4. Applications must be submitted by the January 1, 2027 deadline for the 2027–2028 appointment year.
5. Eligible applicants are contacted to arrange an interview, with interviews beginning in mid-January 2027.
6. The program participates in the Breast Imaging Fellowship Match, sponsored by the Society of Breast Imaging and managed by the National Resident Matching Program. UAB follows the All In Policy, so positions are offered through the Match.
