The Fellowship in Vitreo Retinal Surgery (FVRS) at UICOM is an advanced two-year ophthalmology fellowship that provides comprehensive clinical and surgical training in the management of vitreoretinal diseases. The program focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of complex retinal and vitreous conditions, including retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular diseases, retinal vascular disorders, and pediatric vitreoretinal disorders. Fellows receive extensive hands-on experience in vitreoretinal surgery, retinal imaging, outpatient retina clinics, surgical procedures, clinical research, and academic activities under the guidance of experienced faculty.
