The UAB Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Fellowship is a three-year advanced fellowship providing comprehensive training in the clinical and research aspects of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. Fellows receive high-volume clinical and surgical experience in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor disorders, including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and other pelvic floor conditions. The training structure includes 12 months of research, 12 months of urogynecology, and 12 months of combined urogynecology and urology. The program also emphasizes multidisciplinary care, research methodology, biostatistics, academic development, and both surgical and nonsurgical treatment approaches
